I do not see the problem.

In real life and in countless fictional stories (Dickens and Austen come to mind), men have married their wards. And teachers their former students. It is an extension of the biological facts that men remain virile into their old age, while women have a shorter age of fertility.Talliferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08541684895097153972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8800091210753201638.post-5514387186418932712011-09-06T10:26:12.695+01:002011-09-06T10:26:12.695+01:00Personally the episode was meh, other than the GRO...Personally the episode was meh, other than the GROOMING which now has the zombie fandom falling over themselves to exculpate and explain... He made the series too dark and scary and the doctor always seems to be at deaths door in every other episode. That's fine for us adults, but I can't let my younger kids watch it these days - You're in the dog house, Mr. Moffat (or Muppet as he's known in our household). I must admit a few lines in Lets Kill Hitler made me laugh and I did begin to enjoy the story once River got going and did a runner (after leaving the doctor at death's door once more). But I agree with you guys, I thought the episode was a cop-out. The resolution felt rushed and I expected so much more. Like you said, Amy and Rory were entirely unconvincing as new parents - where was the passion and anger? The whole thing about Mels was ridiculous. The doctor mentioned that he'd never heard of her before, but was quick to brush that under the carpet. So if the doctor isn't bothered by this fact, neither should we be. well I was bothered and so were plenty of other viewers I'm sure. As for River, she's a bit like marmite I'm guessing - people either love her or hate her. I love her. My husband can't stand her. But her relationship with the doctor is one aspect of the show that I'm interested in following. Now, back to Moffat, what the heck is next week's episode all about? Pychotic looking dolls that come to life, giant freaky eyeballs? Does the man not feel he has sufficiently traumatised enough children in the country with the weeping angels (That was a very good episode!)? lol. Hmm, not sure what I think about the next installment from the trailer. Could be good, could be Moffat tripe served up to look clever and creepy, but actually just scraping the barrel. Will you guys be reviewing it?~J~noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8800091210753201638.post-40434528506419043742011-08-30T18:35:03.390+01:002011-08-30T18:35:03.390+01:00Okay, so I'm going to say it.... Still not sure about Alex Kingston in general, think she should have stayed in ER.oddsockshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06512513937528415969noreply@blogger.com
